Sa umpisa, may mga ganoong actions na hindi maganda, eventually mawawala rin 'yon at matatangap rin po nila," the young actress explained.In the past, Kimeralds had threatened to boycott Gerald if he is paired with another leading lady. When the young actor was romantically linked to Bea Alonzo, Kim reportedly received death threats and hate mails. It was not proven, though, that these came from Kimerald fans.As the newest primetime leading lady, Jewel could not help but feel pressured that she's now in a company of soap princesses."Merong pressure, may kaba... at the same time challenge. Kasi ako po 'yung nag-uumpisa pa lang. Alam ko na matututo ako sa kanilang lahat kasi lahat sila, you know, established na."Gerald welcomes working with Jewel in a soap."Excited ako sa project at excited akong makatrabaho siya (Jewel). Unang-una kasi galing siyang GMA and 'yun, lumipat siya sa atin [referring to ABS-CBN]. Kumbaga, it's a very exciting challenge," he said in an interview.Gerald feels that his and Kim's fans will accept his team-up with Jewel."
