Jewel Mische is Gerald Anderson’s new leading lady

Showbiz commentator and actor Ogie Diaz, who was one of the hosts of the program, also revealed on Friday that Jewel is undergoing workshop at the ABS-CBN compound.

The transfer of the 20-year-old KC Concepcion look-alike became controversial as she has recently called it quits with prized Kapuso star Richard Gutierrez. In previous interviews, the actor extended his support to his ex-girlfriend as she opens a new chapter in her showbiz career.
Apart from “Bagwis,” ABS-CBN is also set to launch its adaptation of the Korean drama series “Green Rose,” as well as several reality and game franchise shows like “Pinoy Big Brother Season 4,” “The Price Is Right,” “Junior Master Chef Philippines,” and “Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition.”

While Jewel is now a confirmed Kapamilya, many also wonder if Kapuso star Marvin Agustin will return to the network where he started from.
During a recent press conference, however, the actor-entrepreneur intimated that he has no plans of reuniting with his original mother studio, in spite of his being cast in the third installment of the “Tanging Ina” trilogy, “Ang Tanging Ina Mo Rin, Last Na ‘To.”
"Naku, I'm very, very happy with GMA now at ang daming blessings na natanggap ko since I moved there, 'yong alaga at pagmamahal. Ang dami kong roles na hindi nagawa pero sila ang nag-challenge sa akin. So it would be hard for me kung ano ang mangyayari next year," he related.

Marvin is grateful that while he is still bound by his contract (at least until September of next year), his mother studio permitted him to do the film. Marvin was originally cast in the first “Tanging Ina” film in 2003, when he was still a Kapamilya.

“Buti na lang ay nasa franchise ako dahil kung hindi, siguro it would also be hard for them to cast me, and it would also be hard for me to ask permission from GMA. Buti na lang at alam nilang pamilya kami. Nakakalungkot naman kung ikaw ang dahilan para 'di magsama-sama ang pamilya," he happily related.
